Sweet Talin and weight loss update

This weekend I haven't felt very well. So Friday when I got home from work I went straight to my room to cuddle in my wonderful heat blanket. Talin came up and sat on me. Then he kept hugging me. What a sweetie but mean mom I am I told him to go find dad. He wouldn't leave he just said "Mom you need me." Awww! Can't kick him out when he's being that sweet!

So a few days ago I hit my next milestone! I'VE LOST ALEENA! 65lbs. Its been a few days since then and I am at 68lbs lost. I picked Aleena up the other night because she fell asleep in my bed. I can't believe I have been carrying that much around all this time. So Thursday was my last shot and today is my last day of 500. I'm glad to be done but also a little bummed cause I wanted to be down 75... or at least 70. Well I'm going to keep going. I like being smaller:) Now I just need a new wardrobe.

I've lost Damen! YAY!

I know I sound like a scuzz! But I haven't really lost this cute boy... I've just lost as much weight as he weighs:) 60 lbs Whoot whoot! When I pick up Damen I can't believe I could carry that much extra weight around! He's heavy! I'm not done yet though! I'm hoping soon I will have lost Aleena!

35. Diet. and Pirates.

Well I turned 35 a few days ago. AWWWWW! This seems so much closer to 40! On my birthday I started the gorge part of the HCG diet. That was fun! I don't now if I've ever ate that much in my life. I was actually sick of eating by the time the 2nd day was over. But now I am on the 500 calorie part I am thinking back to those wonderful pig out days. I am excited though. So far so good. So the one good thing about living far from most of my family is the TA-DA factor. When I have lost weight they didn't see me all the time so it was a shock to them. Of course I loved them noticing:)
Yesterday we went to Pirate Island for the first time. It was for my 2 nephews bithday's. Elijah 6 and his lil bro Noah 4. I think it would be a lot of fun to go for home evening sometime. Damen and Talin LOVED it.
Tonight Damen and Talin were playing pirate with these wooden swords that I got them for Christmas(and forgot to give to them). Damen swung his sword and the wooden sleeve thing flew off and hit Talin right in the face. Nose and mouth. So after lots of blood and lots of crying Talin wanted a kiss better. Oh I love when my kiss can make things all better. Really! Once I gave him a kiss he moved on with life.

New Years Resolutions

I can't believe it's 2011. CRAZY! So I am ready to make some resolutions. I am posting them so I will have to stick to 'em. Or at least remind myself:)
1. Blog at least once a week.
2. Get my family on a schedule.
3. Keep my house clean.
4. Watch less TV.
5. Exercise at least 3 times a week.
6. Don't let everything bother me.
7. Get family to church.... and on time!
8. Be a better wife and mom!!!!

I'm sure I'll think of more later. For now I'll work on these.

Last Day & Banana's growing up.

Another year of school is gone. Sad thing is. That Brie will now be in Jr high. "snif snif" So at Westside they have a 6th grade graduation. It was fun except the slide show decided not to work. That was a bummer. I know Mrs. Bair put a lot of work into it. I really am in shock that the time has gone by so fast. But it could be worse! Michelle and Becka both have HS graduates! EEEK!
Brie has some really great friends this year. It's kind of funny cause one of their moms is a girl I took dance with at Diane's for years. Another one is the granddaughter of a guy my mom went to HS with. Anyhoo.... These girls have a really fun night planned. They are going to Kylee's dance recital. Then they have lots of junk food to eat and games to play. I doubt they will get much sleep. But..... you don't graduate from elementary everyday.

SO I finally attempted digi scrapping. I have to say IT IS SOO FUN! I am really hoping I can figure it out a lot more. Anyway....... What do you think?

The Karate Kid

Damen took a mini karate class about a month or so ago. He really loved it. We would like to put him in a regular class. Of course my favorite part was how stinkin' cute he looks in the outfit!
