My friend Christy and I talked Brienna and her bff Tia (Christy's daughter) into dressing up as Madonna style 80's girls for Halloween. I'm not sure who had more fun us or our girls. haha I love how cute they turned out! David thinks Brie looks like a cross between me and Boo. What do you think?

Aleena decided to be a hippy. Michelle had the costume so I only had to get a couple of accessories. She was fun cause she totally had this so cool attitude. As you can see in the pics.

Damen kept changing his mind. But decided to be a ninja, for the swords of course. Talin wouldn't leave Damen's swords alone. So he was a ninja too so he could have his own swords.

On Halloween we had Ashley's baptism at 11:00 then a luncheon after. Then we hurried home to get ready. I had to be at the salon from 3 to 5 for the Main Street Trick or Treat that we do every year. So David brought the kids down to do it and hang out. After that David headed to Provo to pick up Cafe Rio(our Halloween tradition) while I took the kids around trick or treating. Then we had dinner and went and saw G & G Bernardi. We came home and watched Scooby Doo the Mystery Begins. I had fun and I think the rest of the Nardis did too.

Today.

I really can't believe Brienna is 12 today where has the time gone???? Wasn't she just born... like yesterday? My baby girl is starting Young Womens. This is definitely making me feel old. It seems like I was just 12 myself.
Breinna is really an amazing girl. I think I would have a melt down on a daily basis if it weren't for her and all the help she is to me. Really she is so thoughtful and she always tries to do what is right and to please us. She is just so good natured! It seems like she only is a grump if she gets too hungry or tired. Even her cousins will say"Brienna must be tired cause she is grumpy."

Well these 12 years have gone by so fast. But they have been wonderful because Brienna was a part of them! I love you Nenna. Happy Birthday.

Seroiusly PHEUMONIA!

David started getting sick about two weeks ago and just hasn't been able to shake it. So yesterday he went to the doctor and found out it's pneumonia. Seriously! So I've been feeling pretty guilty cause for awhile I just thought he was a baby... You know how men are when they're sick. Poor guy had to get a nasty shot in his booty and has to take 3 prescriptions. Well he likes one of them! Makes him loopy. Hopefully he will get better soon!

Men at work!

I am so excited! We have a room downstairs that we are trying to finish for Brienna. Then Damen and Talin will share and Aleena will have her own room. So this weekend my dad and brother-in-law Jim and David worked their tails off to get the room ready to be sheetrocked. Then Monday my Uncle Wayne and his friend sheetrocked and textured the ceiling. I don't know if it will be possible to get it done by Brienna's birthday but we are going to try.

Wasps and Homeade Brownies.

I am so dang sick of wasps!!!!!!! We spray and knock the nests down and spray some more. The never seem to go away. Talin was outside today and just started screaming. He had been stung 4 times. 3 on one wrist and once on the other. Poor kid! He hasn't got all swollen like Damen does. So that is good! I gave him some benadryl and put cortizone on the bites. Then he took a nap. He seems fine.
Tonight after dinner David took the kids over to his mom's. When they got home Brienna had brought Paula's recipe for brownies. They were so excited and going on & on about how good they are. So Damen says "I don't want the other kind anymore. I want you to buy the homemade ones."

This summer has just gone by so fast. I have pics I will have to post later. Today was the first day of school. Everything went great. But then again it always does til the excitement wears off. Then I can barely drag them out of bed. Pay backs no fun for me huh mom! I guess I deserve it.

David is home today so Talin is loving life. He has us all to himself. It will be interesting to see if he misses the other kids. Maybe he will when it's just him and I.
