Aleena'a Birthday Party

Wow it's been a long tome since I've posted. So I will start with Aleena's birthday party and try to catch up from there.

We had Aleena's party at the salon. Two of the girls I work with helped me. (Thanks Melissa and Inalei!) When the girls first arrived we started doing their hair. Then we painted nails. After that I took them out and did a little photo shoot with them. 9 year old girls definitely like to pose for pics! Finally we went back in and had snacks and cupcakes.

I seem to get myself in over my head with things like this. I told Boo it is her fault cause of all the cute things she does. But really I just need to manage my time better. I love copying the thing she does. Plus I just called her up and she came up with this cute poem for the invitations.

Cute huh! So after she did the poem I called Lindsey and she whipped up a way cute invitation and e-mailed it to Wal-mart so I just had to pick 'em up. Don't I have the best sisters!

When I got the vacuum out someone got very excited! He waited patiently while I put the hose on and plugged it in. Then he yanked the hose away from me and went to work. He did a pretty good job! :) Now I just need to figure out how to keep him wanting to help! BTW notice the mouth. He is even worse then I ever was! (Damen is too!) Poor kids.

Got into the Halloween make-up. He was very proud of this.

He got in trouble..... only a little. But he was devastated over it.

Talin has been such a cutie and such a stinker lately. He gets into everything! But when you get mad at him for it he has a meltdown.

Damen Lost his 1st Tooth

Damen was so funny when his tooth was loose. He had no patience at all. (I have no idea where that came from. LOL) He wanted that thing OUT! Seriously. He even let me tie dental floss around it and yank it out. A few days later I got to do it again with his other tooth. That one flew across the room when I pulled it. Luckily we found it so the Tooth Fairy could come.

On Brienna's birthday we had Angela's wedding reception. Brie was a bridesmaid and Aleena a flower girl. The boys went really anything, but we got them cute matching shirts. So that was fun. Having this many kids at the reception was definitely a bit crazy.... But the kids love each other and have so much fun together. I guess that's the important thing, right? Cause I think there were 5 sets of parents about at the end of their ropes by the time the night was over. But these are the things we will all look back at with fond memories.... right?

Old Ladies!

Ok Becka this is for you! And that is a pillow. My bum's not quite that big yet. So for those of you that don't know. The salon I work at is on Main Street in Springville. Every Halloween there is this big trick or treat thing down Main Street. So for the past 5 years all the stylists nail techs and massage therapists dress up the same. We started out as pirates. Then witches, 50's and zombies. So this year we did old ladies. What do ya think?

P.S. Wish you could have seen my dance moves..... I could've done "Baby got back!" LOL!!!
