My girls are gone...

You would think it would take a little longer for me to miss my girls, but I already do! Aleena left yesterday to go stay with my mom. Brienna left this morning to go to Shadow Mtn. (5th grade camp) I was really looking forward to some peace and quiet... Damen and Aleena have really been at it lately. I know as soon as they are back about an hour I will be ready for them to go again. But right now I just miss my girls. I just think at night time you want your kids home in there own beds.

You won't believe & Funny sisters

Today I woke up at 5AM. And I actually didn't go back to bed. No really. Even more amazing at 6:00 I went grocery shopping. Now I am just hoping I can make it through the day without dying. I need to be peppy cause later I get to go out to lunch with Christy.

So my oldest sister Michelle is in Hawaii. Yes I'm jealous. Anyway my sis Boo(Becka) has been posting little comments on her blog about this. I have to say reading what she says is one of the highlights of my day. So either I'm a big loser or she is really funny. I'm going with the "really funny." I guess you have to know Michelle. But she has a fear of flying and a fear of sharks. So flying over the ocean where the plane could crash and a shark could eat her was not a happy thought for her. Seriously she considered having her doctor write her a prescription for something. I know I'm horrible to get enjoyment out of a sisters fear. I'll blame it on Becka cause she makes it even more funny! The picture above Michelle texted us. Don't you think she looks scared. Becka also pointed out that Michelle is the only one on the plane. That would make you nervous. You'd be the only one for the sharks to eat. Love ya Michelle!

Dance Recital

I have to say, except for the crowded auditorium and the cut throat seat saving I really love to watch my girls (and nieces) dance. Sometimes Brienna seems a little timid when she dances. But I see improvement all the time. But then again she could just stand there and I would think she was the most beautiful one up there.(and Brooky tooky too... they are in the same class).

So have I bragged about my nieces yet? These are two of Michelle's girls. Brooklynn is already getting so good and she's only 10. And Jamie is AMAZING and she's only 13. Seriously I would say that even if she wasn't one of my favorite nieces! ha ha But I do have to say I love the hair Jamie. I don't know if you can really get the full effect in the picture. But it's babin'!

Kindergarten Grad!

I am still trying to catch up on my posts. Damen graduated from kindergarten a few weeks ago. How cute is my little man in his cap and "gown?" (he didn't like that we called it a gown) The program was fun, all the songs were really cute! I love when they sang the one from Brother Bear. "Tell everybody I'm on my way"... to first grade.

I was a little worried when Damen got Mrs. Hansen for a teacher. She is known for being strict. So I wasn't sure how my head strong boy would do in her class. But he really seemed to like her and he had a good year. Now we'll see how he does next year when he has to be there ALL day.

Damen's Boot Camp B-day

Check out these tough kids! Ok so I'm a little late publishin this, but better late then never. Right? We told the kids to wear camo. Then as they arrived we gave them a head band and put camo paint on their faces. After that we did an obsticle course. It started with running through tires. Then army crawl under a net. Next swing on a rope. Climb over the jungle gym and run to the end. After we did that for awhile we played with water granades. After that we did presants and cake. When we were done with that I realized we were going too fast. So we played games till time to go. I think the kids had fun!
