Thanks Jen!

So let me tell you about my super nice & talented sister-in -law, Jen. We were talking about what type of baptism dress to get for Aleena. She told me that she had an old wedding dress and could make Aleena a dress out of it. So she designed a dress and made it. Then we went out and she took pictures of Aleena in it. And after that she designed an invitation with the pictures she took. Thanks Jen!!!! So here is Aleena in her beautiful baptisn dress.

2 year old lovin' hurts!

I was sitting by Talin today while he watch t.v. He was being all cute and silly. I told him to give me a kiss. Too bad for me he did. Boy he loves hard. I thought I was going to have a fat lip.

What a mean mom!

I have to say I love the afternoons! You know everyone but Talin is at school. And Talin takes a nap. Today I heard Talin coming downstairs when he woke up. I was excited to see him. So I said HEY!(a little too loud) Poor kid, jumped so bad. Then he turned around to go back upstairs. I went after him and he was laying on the stairs. I think he'd decided he didn't need to put up with me and was going back to sleep.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures. Do I have a handsome little dude or what. I do always tell him "It's a good thing you're so cute." And I really am serious cause he can be a stinker.

Here are a few more pics Boo took. I'm a little jealous of how good she is! But then again I love it cause she takes such great pictures of my kids! Aleena is so funny to watch during her photo shoot. Every snap she is turning her head, posing. She thinks she's a super model!

We have been in Hurricane all week. I love being at my mom's. I love hanging out with my mom and sisters. I wish I could live a little closer. I was ready to come home though. Just to be at my own house. My kids had really started acting up... Well a few of them. Last night my dad was trying to get Talin to leave Parker alone. After my dad told him a few times Talin got mad. He turned to my dad with a big scowl, pointed his finger and said NOOOOO! I don't think dad knew if he should get mad or laugh. I wasn't sure what to do either. It was funny! But I don't want my kids to not be respectful.
So I was in my van with Becka and my kids. When Damen starts talking about if we have another kid our van will be full. Brienna asked him "What if we have another?" Damen thought for just a second and said "We'll put 'em in the trunk." That kid cracks me up!

We went to Kanab yesterday. We had a hair do and picture day it was fun. The kids played and played. Then got their pictures taken. Then played some more. These are some of the pics Becka took. She is so good. Don't ya think!?! Yes I will admit she had cute subjects to work with. But I love the pictures she does.

"The BUZZ"

For those who don't remember when Aleena buzzed the top of her hair. It was April Fool's Day 2004. We were in Hurricane to help with Lindsey's bridals. The pictures were the night before. I ended up cutting Robby's hair at the last minute. We were running late, so we left everything out. Anyway the next morning Aunt Diana came over to visit. Right after she left Aleena comes walking in. At first she just looked wierd. Then I realized what was wrong. The hair on the top of her head was GONE. aaaah!! I started to freek out but then my mom say's "I told you guys to put those away!" I couldn't really get to mad since it was my fault. And I felt like a little kid that just got in trouble. It was really short! No gaurd short. I didn't take the pictures above 'til about 2 weeks after. So I kept the rest of her hair long until after the wedding. Then cut it off. Looking back she looked like a little boy with a really bad mullet!

This was taken earlier this year. I know I went a little overboard on the pictures. It was really hard to narrow it down to just those. :) I look at the pics and am in shock, where has the time gone? And where did my lil chubber go? She has turned into a skinny lil thing that is old enough to be baptised next month. CRAZY!

Suprise!!!

Aleena will be 8 tomorrow. WOW! It's not her year to have a party. So David and I took her on a date. She got to choose where we went to dinner.... ANYWHERE. She chose Chuck-arama. We ended up talking her in to Golden Caral. Only because we told her they had steak.

The real excitement of the evening was Aleena's suprise. David covered her eyes while I took pictures. Aleen's first visit to Build-a -Bear. (All of our first visit) Aleena chose a little lamb and named her AJ. Aleena is putting in Aj's heart.

Well tonight is my last night before Aleena turns 8. I'm feeling a little sad. Eight just seems soo old. I really just want her to stay a little girly girl!

This was in an e-mail I got today. The E-mail was about a girl that had her dream wedding even though she was very sick...and she died just days after. So often I don't enjoy all that I have. I get mad at my kids over dumb things that dont really matter And sometimes I hold grudges. Boy why do I waste my time on these things? So my goal is to try to do better. Wish me luck!

So I stole this scrapbook page of Parker off Lindseys blog. But I just had to show everyone how stinkin' cute this kid is! Seriously though he came out pokin out his tongue!

Poor kids!

Well I'm feelin' like a good mom...not really! Yesterday Damen and Talin were so excited to go outside with David. Damen told me they were going to play catch with the football and then "fight."(wrestle) Talin got his shoes for me to put on him. Then they went out. After they came in Talin was crying. He seemed really ticked off. Anyway when I finally took off his shoes and socks I saw he had this weird indentation on the bottom of his foot. I looked in his shoe and there was one in there too. I finally looked around and found the bottom & wheels of a lego car. It had been in his shoe the whole time. I felt so bad! I should have checked his shoe. (He puts stuff in our shoes all the time.)
Poor Brienna! A few days ago she showed us that she had an absess on her gums. This is really not good when it comes to Brienna. Everytime she has had a cavity we get it fixed. Then a few months down the road she gets an absess. And it ends up she has to have the tooth pulled. But this time we didn't know what the deal was. The absess was above a new permanent tooth. So yestersay morning I took her to the dentist. The problem was the tooth next to the permanent one. It wasn't coming out fast enough. So there was a spot for bacteria to hide. Yes she had to have it pulled. She does so good even though she has had more than her share of teeth pulled!
